The Iowa Tree Top Cur and Feist Club will be hosting the 2013 NKC US Championships on September 28th. This will consist of a NKC sanctioned Cur and Feist only squirrel hunt, bench show, treeing contest, and coon hunt. There will be a full set of awards, and the kitchen will be open. The grounds consist of 360 acres including timber and walking trails, there is a playground, and electricity for camping. This is an event you can bring the whole family and enjoy the day!
Here are the directions to the clubhouse. It will be in Clarksville at Heery Woods Nature Center. Take Hwy 3 west of Shellrock 5 miles, turn right/North on IA-188, 1.5 miles turn left/West on 195th Street. Nature Center is 1/2 mile on North side. The deadlines are: Squirrel Hunt is 9:00 AM, Bench Show is 4:00 PM, Treeing Contest to follow bench show, and Nite Hunt is 6:00 PM.
