NKC Hurricane Benefit Hunt for Squirrel Dog Hunters of La. and Mississippi

This hunt will be hosted by the Bayou State Squirrel Dog Assn (BSSDA) and Louisiana State Squirrel dog Assn. The purpose of this hunt is to help squirrel dog hunters in LA, and MS that were affected by the recent hurricane. The hunt is for points only, no trophies will be awarded.All money and contributions collected from this hunt will be donated. We will have a squirrel hunt , bench show, and treeing contest, and a kids bench show. Draw out time will be at 6:00a.m with the bench show and treeing contest to follow. The hunt will be held at Leesville,La. If you would like to make a donation please make it out Bayou State Squirrel Dog Assn and mail it to 315 Leavines rd Boyce, La 71409
Special thanks to NKC and Full Cry magazine. Nkc has donated all the hunt fees and dog registration money back to this effort. Full Cry has donated a ad to advertise this hunt for us.
NKC dog registration is only $10.00. NKC will donate this to the Hurricane fund.
From the junction of hwy 28 and hwy 171 (coming from Alexandria) take 171 N for 4-6 miles. Metal building on right. Surrounded by a chain link fence. Signs will be posted.
