    Banana Bread Sourdough

    • Ingredients:


      • 1/2 cup butter

      • 1 cup(220g) brown sugar

      • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

      • 1 cup(210g) fresh sourdough starter

      • 2 bananas, mashed

      • 2 cups(240g) flour

      • 1 tsp. Salt

      • 1 Egg

      • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

      Prep Time: 15 Min. Cook Time: 1 Hour 10 Minutes



    1. Cream together the butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.

    2. Mix in the sourdough starter and mashed bananas.

    3. In a separate bowl combine the flour, salt and baking soda. Add the flour mixture to banana mixture and mix just until combined. Do not over-mix.

    4. Pour the batter into a parchment paper lined 9x5-inch bread pan. Bake at 350°F for 1-hour and 10-minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool completely prior to slicing.
