We took a little road trip to Laurel Hill WMA. I had a blast, you can't beat times like these. Pictured below is Jerre Keef, Marty Brown, Carl Richardson, Billy Ray Griffith and John Watts. Thanks Guys for a great hunt.

I recieved this email from Jon and Karen Mansfield the other day reporting in on their pup out of Crossfire Candy Cane and Halls Little River Cowboy. I have now heard back from the owners of all these pups and all are treeing.

"John,

You probably see these all the time but want to let you see Sadie since we are so proud. Sadie is out of Candy Cane born 2/13/11. She treed this squirrel in a scope of woods behind the house. I shot it out with a pellet rifle. She's treeing well, She hunts by sight, sound and smell. She really amazes us and we are very proud of her and love her.

Thanks for all of your help ensuring I got a female.

Jon Mansfield"

Good looking feist sounds as if she's on her way to becoming a good one.

Jon & Karen Mansfield came by today and picked up their Pup out of the Max and Candy litter. This is their 2nd pup to get from us. They got a pup out of the Halls Little River Cowboy X Crossfire Candy Cane litter. They named her Sadie and said she is turning out to be a great dog.

He looks good Kenny. His dad would just as rather tree a coon as much as squirrels. Turbo looks like he is built like a tank. Keep him in the woods.
