Welcome to High Oak Kennels where we raise Treeing Feist. Our dogs are quality Feist. Anything that we incorporate into our kennel will be to better the breed; whether it be line breeding or outcrossing.

Our goal is to produce Squirrel Dogs. We refuse to run a puppy mill and have NO brood females. If it won't tree...we don't breed it or keep it!

We are very blessed to have the type of high quality dogs that can prove themselves in the woods and also reproduce their likeness. We believe that we have nice reproducers offered at stud to the public. We breed for squirrel dogs.

If we don't have what you are looking for then I will be more than willing to point you in the direction of someone that raises high quality squirrel dogs, will treat you right and be honest with you.

TENNIE is the newest addition to High Oak Kennels.
Tennie is an NKC SqCh and a really nice squirrel dog. She made NKC Squirrel Champion in 3 hunts with two 1st place wins and one 3rd place finish. She also placed 4th at the 2009 ATFA Missouri Regional Hunt. She has only been in 5 competition hunts and has done an outstanding job against very good competition.

Tennie is out of Quick's Champ x Quick's Amy.
Amy is out of Quick's Champ x Double H Dottie. This makes Tennie 3/4 Champ bred.

Tennie is from a line of Great Squirrel Dogs. Quick's Champ is one of the better reproducers alive today. He has sired numerous Champions. Quick's Amy is as nice as they come. Amy's mother, Double H Dottie, was an NKC Gr Sq Ch and won the NKC Arkansas State Squirrel Hunt in back to back years.

I really appreciate Jeff Oxford for giving me the opportunity to own this nice female.
Tennie is a nice squirrel dog and a reproducer and we are pleased to have her at High Oak Kennels!

****03-10-10 Rockin R Baby Doll is visiting Little River Spud****

This should be a really nice cross. Babe is a stay put squirrel dog and has proven herself in the woods and at the hunts. I have had the opportunity to hunt with Babe and she is a high quality squirrel dog no doubt. Anyone interested in a sure enough well bred pup that has an extremely good shot at making a squirrel dog should contact Harold Robison (334) 585-9253.

Here is a photo of Baby Doll after her 3rd place finish at the 2010 ATFA Dexter Rally Hunt. Harold and Babe are in the middle. Babe has also placed in several other ATFA events.

****03-19-10 NKC SqCh Tennie is being bred to Little River Spud****

Tennie will be bred to Little River Spud. As stated above about Spud...he has sired 5 hunt winners out of 5 different females. Tennie is an NKC Squirrel Champion and is a hard hunter that will hold pressure from any dog. When Tennie trees she is there to stay. She is very athletic and really covers a lot of ground. This should be a nice cross and the pups will definitely have the breeding to make nice squirrel dogs. I am taking deposits on this cross now as well.

This is my stud pup out of the Britches x Gardner's Sugar cross. My little nephew has named him Tebow. It would be nice to get him in the hands of a hard hunter that can dedicate all of their hunting time with him. This pup has basically the same breeding, genetically, as ATFA Dog of the Year---Landrum's LT.

Andy
looks like you are breeding several first class females! I hope those make some nice tree dogs in the future. i know you haven't bred Spud till now but this looks like just the beginning. With his record i don't see why more folks aren't breeding to him if they want squirrel dogs that can compete. best of luck with them.

****03-21-10 Roxie is being bred to UKC SqCh Kerley's Dusty****

Roxie is being bred to Dusty. This should be a nice cross. Dusty is a good cold nosed squirrel dog. Roxie is a nice female also. She hunts hard and stays treed. These pups should have what is needed to make top squirrel dogs! I am taking deposits on this cross now.

I got this email from Stewart Baxley of Milton, Florida. He purchased Belle from me a few months ago and she really turned it on for him. Belle is out of the Britches x Roxie cross I made last year. She was the only female of the bunch. Stewart emailed me some pictures of one of her hunts. She did this in only 19 short hunts!!! Belle will turn 1 year old on April 7 of this year.

"Andy , belle is doing outstanding my little boy loves to go hunting with her. She treed her first squirrel on 2-7-10 and by 3-7-10 she has treed 80 and we knocked out 60 to her. So when you get another just like her call me, he or she will have a home. Thanks a lot stewart baxley."

Our goal is to produce Champions. We have 2 Sons of Oakdale Sport Model, Gingo's Britches and Kerley's Dusty, that are Squirrel Champions and were the first sons of Old Sport to do so.
There are only 3 Male Squirrel Champions out of Sport and all 3 are from the same cross -
Oakdale Sport Model x Gingo's Cricket

Britches is the 2007 Alabama State Champion and also a UKC Squirrel Champion. Dusty is a UKC Squirrel Champion. Both are treedogs and reproduce treedogs.

If you are looking for a top notch Sport Bred male to breed to your good females or if you are looking for a quality Sport Bred puppy to add to your kennel then you will be hard pressed to find better Sport Bloodline than what we have to offer at High Oak Kennels.
