I strive to breed versatile dogs that will use their eyes, ears, and nose to locate game.

Although I mostly hunt for squirrels I also hunt rabbits, 'coons, and upland game birds with my dogs. I primarily hunt recreationally with my dogs but have begun to dabble in the competition realm.

While hunting ability in my dogs is my primary focus, I also breed to balance the admirable breed characteristics that also make the Mountain Feist a desirable companion for an active rural family. My dogs excel at both.

The pedigrees of my dogs include some well-known bloodlines such as: Cadillac Jack, Buckley, Sport Model and Kemmer.

My feist dogs came DIRECTLY out of the Appalachian Mountains!

"Just wanted to give ya a quick holler...The pup I got from you is doing awesome now the hickory nuts are on. She actually caught 1 in the yard last week when it bailed out and for some reason ran through a field instead of to the woods....Anyway, she is doing great and I really look forward to what this coming season has to come. She also hates a coon as well, but Im just gonna hunt her on squirrels for now...Coons may come down the road when shes a lil older. Hope your doing well and thanks again for selling me this pup."

Bella and Wyatt are both still available. Getting a lot of tire kickers but no one is making the trip up here on the mountain to physically look at them.

Hey Marc, River Queen is ready for these leaves to drop! She is 14 inches tall and weighs 15lbs now. I've still taking her out in the woods a few hours everyday and it shows very well. She has been treeing on her own since Aug. 29th and the concept of "yard squirrels" is a joke to her, they don't last long! Our season opens in 11 days and I am really looking foward to turning her loose in the big timber. I'm hoping to start competition hunting her when she gets a little older.

Thanks for the update, Byron! Queenie's lookin' great. You are definitely doing her breeding justice by working with her a lot. It's very nice to see you bringing her to her full potential.

:trophy_cup_sm_nwm: :trophy_cup_sm_nwm: Thanks Marc and Big Oak! Here is a funny little story for ya. When I picked up my first Mt. Feist (Mr. Angler) I googled Mountan Feist and and the first dog I saw Gray's Trigger (Queen's grand sire). I studied up about Feist dogs and started wtching videos of Daisy & Ranger and the other Gray's feist on youtube and started training Angler off of what I saw on Marc's videos. I had no idea these dogs were related (Trigger, Ranger, Daisy). Then, I caught up with Marc on facebook and got some training tips over the phone and booked a pup as soon as he mentioned he had a upcoming litter out of Daisy. Marc gave me alot of great info to look into when I picked up River Queen and don't think I wold have learned as much as I have so far about these dogs if not for his help. The part that trips me out is I end up with a outstanding grand pup of the first mt. feist I ever saw a picture of and her dam ends up being off of Trigger and daisy was one of the dogs that I watched alot of videos of to learn to train my first feist. I thought that was pretty cool. Thanks for reading.
