The Iowa Tree Top Cur and Feist Club will be hosting the 2013 NKC US Championships on September 28th. This will consist of a NKC sanctioned Cur and Feist only squirrel hunt, bench show, treeing contest, and coon hunt. There will be a full set of awards, and the kitchen will be open. The grounds consist of 360 acres including timber and walking trails, there is a playground, and electricity for camping. This is an event you can bring the whole family and enjoy the day! Here are the directions to the clubhouse. It will be in Clarksville at Heery Woods Nature Center. Take Hwy 3 west of Shellrock 5 miles, turn right/North on IA-188, 1.5 miles turn left/West on 195th Street. Nature Center is 1/2 mile on North side. The deadlines are: Squirrel Hunt is 9:00 AM, Bench Show is 4:00 PM, Treeing Contest to follow bench show, and Nite Hunt is 6:00 PM.

Events will be held at teh Scott Lodge residence in Nashua, Iowa. Take 346 east of fairgrounds to T76. Turn south and go for one third mile. Turn west on Beaumont Way. Located at end of road. Points will be awarded for each hunt. Awards given for both hunts combined. $10 per hunt and $15 for the show. Food will be served at club. Points accumulated in this event will also count towards club year end high scoring dogs. Each year this event grows and as it does we ry to grow with the crowd. One way we do this is to try to maintain the family atmosphere. In doing so we are offering a large, more valuable collection of raffle prizes along with a special kids raffle this year and of course there is always the kids' bench show. Once again, we are offering a trememdous set of trophies going ten deep in both hunts. Points accumulated in this event will also count towards club year end high scoring dogs.
