Last year we had 19 kids at the hunt. This year we had 44 participants and a couple of other kids that wouldn't participate. Jason Cobb figured over 120 people were there total. Thats 120 people that sat and heard Bro. Hardy Estes preach the message. 45 bibles were handed out to the kids. I am proud to be a member of our club. BAYOU STATE SQUIRREL DOG ASSOCIATION NON-SANCTIONED YOUTH HUNT SATURDAY APRIL 26, 2008 (Kids Ages 16 and under)(Cur and Feist only) $10 entry fee covers squirrel hunt, bench show, and treeing contest. Draw out for the squirrel hunt will be around 6:30 am; after lunch we will have the bench show and treeing contest Please come out and participate and together we can all make this a great time for the kids. Directions to hunt site (Greenhaven Landscapers and Snake Creek Kennels) If coming from the SOUTH: Take 171 N in Leesville until you reach the 467 intersection (American Realty should be on your left). Turn right on 467, go through the 4-way stop and cross the railroad tracks. Stay with the bend to the right. Travel about 1 1/2 - 2 miles. We are on the left. Hayfield and big metal building on a hill directly across from gas station. (Greenhaven Landscapers and Snake Creek Kennels). If coming from the NORTH (Or traveling on 171 N.): Take 171 S in Leesville until you reach the 467 intersection (should go by Sabine State Bank and American Realty). Cross over 171 N on 467, go through the 4-way stop and cross the railroad tracks. Stay with the bend to the right. Travel about 1 1/2 - 2 miles. We are on the left.
