Pearl River Co. Sq. and Coon Hunters are having a hunt Sept. 3rd, 2005. Draw-out for Sq. Hunt is 6:00 A.M. Bench Show and Treeing Contest following hunt. There will also be a Poor Boys Coon Hunt that night if we have any participation, Draw-out of Coon Hunt 7:30 P.M. This will be a Trophy Sq. Hunt B.S. and T.C. the Coon Hunt will be just for points entry fee for Coon Hunt $5. The Sq. Hunt is $20 and the Bench Show and Treeing Contest is $10. Also Purina, Larry Walters/Sales Rep. for Purina has sent 4 coupons for free sacks of feed. He also said there were hats and bowls on the way. These will be given out at the Hunt. We will have Barbaqued Sausage to eat and if you'd like, bring a dish or a desert or both. It's not a requirement, but if you can, it would be nice. Hope to see some of you here the 3rd of September. I posted it on the wrong day. It's May 7th here at my Mom's house in Crossroads Ms. Pearl River County Squirrel and Coon hunters are having a hunt May 7th. Sq. Hunt draw-out 6:30 AM. Bench show and Treeing Contest following Sq. Hunt. As always Mom will have some Bar Ba Qued Sausage. There will be plenty of Drinks and the sausage and drinks are free of charge. We are having an NKC State Hunt the 26th of Feb. Draw- out 6:30 AM Hunt and !:00 PM Hunt. With Treeing Contest and Bench Show between hunts. There will be a meal you can buy for $5 a plate. Sq. Hunt entry fee $15 AM and $15 PM. The Bench Show and Treeing Contest entry is $10 for each event. Claude Thomas is sending a high scoreing dog trophy that will go to dog that comes in with most plus points. You have to be a member of NC&FBA to be eligible. You can become a member the day of the hunt, dues are $7 and you will not only be able to hunt in NC&FBA Hunts, you will recieve a Yearbook. And Mr. Claude said he had a few 2004 Year Books left and he would gladly send the new members one of them. NKC points morning and evening, trophy's will be awarded to how you place in the State Hunt. 2 Cast winner will place above a 1 cast winner even if the 1 cast winner has more plus points. I've just ordered our Plaques and Purina will be sending soom stuff to go the winners. All dogs will hunt together, meaning you could have a Gr. Sq. Ch. and or a Sq Ch. in your cast and you may be hunting a registered dog. Our January 8th Sq. Hunt is coming up. Draw-Out time 6:30 AM. Bench Show and Treeing Contest after Sq. Hunt ( weather permitting ). You may have noticed in the Dec. Full Cry all of Pearl River County Sq. and Coon Hunters hunts were to be in Petal. That is a mistake, the hunts will be on those dates, but in Crossroads not Petal. This is on the NKC Hunt Page. Someone got their wires crossed and had the hunts listed in Petal. I have already called about it and they are to straighten it out. All of PRCSq.&Coon Hunter Hunts will always be in Crossroads, except for the National Kennel Club Mississippi State Championship Hunt and it will Be at Walkiah Bluff Water Park, That's just North of Picayune Ms. and it is to Be on Feb. 26.
