Elmo is a 23 lb mountain treeing feist that is both NKC and UKC registered. He was born January 28th, 2005. He has been treeing squirrels since he was about 8 months old. He placed 2nd in an NKC hunt at the age of 10 months old. He made NKC squirrel champion be the time he was 14 months old. He tied for 7th place in NKC national champion as a 14 month old. Elmo is the most intelligent dog I have ever hunted with and I have had some good dogs in my time including coon dogs. Elmo uses his eyes, his ears, and his nose to find and tree squirrels. He uses all his senses to wind, locate and tree squirrels. He is a squirrel dog from start to finish and he comes by these instincts honest. Just look at his pedigree. His mom is NKC duel champion, Has' Hickory Top Cricket and Cricket's sire is BH Mountain Pistol Pete, a Baldwin breed dog. Elmo's Sire is NKC Grand Sq. CH. Gr.Ch. Indiana Lonesome Critter. Now I would like to announce that I am putting Elmo up for stud to the public at this time. I have bred Elmo 5 times. Some of his pups are not old enough to have accomplished much yet but I am getting some good reports on them for their age. Check Elmo and his pups out.
