Jake Jr is a super hard hunting, fast, lockdown stay put squirrel dog. When you turn Jake Jr loose he leaves at a dead run and when Jake JR trees he will be there feet on the tree. He has an outstanding nose, is silent on track and can tree squirrels on the worst of days.
Jake Jr is from a super reproducing line of squirrel and coon dogs. Jake Jr's sire Hardwood Lake Jake is one of the top producing males in the country today. Jake Jr's dam Kopp's Ruby is a Gerbers Fireball daughter. The Fireball females crossed over Hardwood Lake Jake are producing some of the finest squirrel dogs available.
Jake Jr is from an oustanding cross, he is a full littermate to the 2007 OMCBA Reserve World Champion Browns Dial-N, he is also a full littermate to Jarret Corley's Babe dog, a super squirrel dog also.
Jake Jr has consistently places in hunts this past year.
In just 4mo of hunts he has 8 cast wins including
2 second place finishes, 3rd place at the 2008 USDR Grand American, 4th at the 2008 N.C. OMCBA Classic, 2 6th place finishes and he placed 13th at the 2007 OMCBA World Hunt.
